Our Take

Six indoor tables. A Polish-born owner named Evelina who makes everything by hand from recipes passed down by her grandmother Julia. A $12 lunch that’s among the best values in Morristown.

Pierogies House is the kind of restaurant this platform exists to write about. It’s not on a main drag. It doesn’t have a marketing budget. It has Evelina’s pierogies, and that’s enough.

The operation is small — really small. The upside is that everything that comes out of the kitchen was made with specific attention. The downside is that it’s closed Mondays and the capacity is limited. Get there early or call ahead.
